Kass wanted to make dinner for the four of us...and...well...we are pretty random. We start out playing Mexcian Train Dominoes, which leads to Broc getting out the nerf guns, which leads to...Broc entertaining us as the American Boy! (Sorry, it starts out sideways, but just watch, it turns around real quick!!!)

THE RACES....dun dun dun

My hubby decided to go race for the first time at the fairgrounds in Jackson County! Not only did he race, but we had Mont, Broc, Parker, & Richard! It was a total blast! I took my nieces with me...neither of them could handle the noise at first but by the end they both wanted to be on the fence watching their Uncle Brandon's every move! Aidyn also decided that she wants to race just like the other girls there! It was adorable! Brandon won the first race, with his dad and then Richard following behind him! So the second race he had a closer race with a random guy. He was ahead all the way up to the last lap...then the guy right behind him decided to be an idiot and got tangled up with Brandon...you can see the video below, where he does a kart wheel!!! I am so happy his parents gave him a way early birthday present...a camcorder!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Thanks to them, I got it all on video....but after that last race, I lost all of the pics I took with our digital camera because I ran after Brandon..due to him being so incredibly happy, and well I ran and the camera must have fallen out somewhere along the way. So, no pics of the nieces or of anybody for that matter...just the videos of him racing!!!
GREAT JOB BOYZ!!! Y'ALL DID GREAT!
Don't worry love...you'll get him next time!!!

The Marines...and...BIG TOM...

My Tommy Boy is joining the Marines. He took his test on the 4th and was sworn in on the 5th at 10am. I can't believe my lil tommy is growing up so fast. I figured I'd post some pics so y'all can remember the Marine man as I remember him. He was always the cutest little boy. Friendly, outgoing, loving, etc. Everybody loved him, not only for his size, but for his personality as well! All of his buddies loved him just as much as all of the girls loved him. Whenever you would ask him which girls are after him this week, he would always say, "I don't know!" It was so funny though cuz when you would see him at school there were always a group of girls right by his side. But nobody loves him as much as his family. He was a great brother, son, grandson, etc. You will see a picture below, where he shaved his head completely down to the skin, where he kinda looks like a cone head lol, but he did it with a good heart. He figured if his Grandma had to get her shaved,(due to her cancer, chunks of hair were falling out) then he would shave his too so Grandma wouldn't be alone. You'll also see the pictures of him when he is all ready to go get his Patriarchal Blessing! He was so excited! Look how tiny he is in that pic, he's a lot shorter than my mom, then while Rob was on his mission, Tom grew to be taller than me. He was so excited that he finally grew a few inches lol.
Oh and the picture with his hair straight up...well that's what he let me do to him. It's jello in his hair that makes it stay like that. It was sweet, you have to admit. Anyways, my point is, I just wanted to post some pics so you could keep the same image in your head as I will always have of him. He might be a Marine Man, but he's still my innocent little brother!!!
WE LOVE YOU TOMMY BOY!!! WE WISH YOU THE BEST THROUGH YOUR GREAT JOURNEY! WE WILL MISS YOU AS OUR LITTLE TOMMY, BUT WE WILL LOVE YOU JUST THE SAME AS OUR MARINE MAN!!!

But these are just a few pics I had from the past of things I have done with my love...dates, dunes, etc. Hope you enjoy, I'm sure you'll see a few more random old pics throughout my bloggin days!

Sweetest Invention

Ok, so you're definitely going to laugh at me! But I think this is the sweetest food ever! I had never even heard of spaghetti squash before until just recently so I decided to try it out one night! My husband absolutely loved it and I really didn't mind it too much...the real reason I liked it was because of the way it works......"SQUASH THAT TURNS INTO SPAGHETTI!!!" That was my thought the entire time I was making it, I really do love the way God's mind works. So really, I started thinking of His creation, I thought about everything that He has made, it's so amazing how everything just fits together with perfection! We could have never created anything more beautiful than what He has created! So, all in all, yes, spaghetti squash made me think of God's creation!!! What beautiful creations He has made!!!!!

Ok...so the way I made this sweet invention...put tin foil on a cookie sheet and add a little oil. Cut the spaghetti squash in half, scraped out the seeds, and then baked face down at 450 F for about 45min. Then scrape out the squash with a fork or two and it is just like spaghetti noodles, except for a little more crunchy. Then for the sauce, I just shredded up chicken, and mixed in italian stewed tomatoes and cilantro and let it simmer for a few hours. It turned out pretty good! Definitely different, but GOOD!!!

Then, my cousin ended up sitting right next to us! It was way fun! We got up close and personal with the trucks and the bikes!!! We even got to see sponge bob lol!!! It was way fun! The bikers were way sweet!!! "For the first time ever in Medford...A MOTORCYLCE BACK FLIP!" I wasn't too into the monster trucks, but we got some sweet videos...they wouldn't upload, sorry I can't share the fun with y'all.

Ok, so I'm pretty proud of myself! Let's just say...I am technology stupid. But I found this sweet site (www.scrapblog.com) and I made my own little header for my blog! I was amazed at how easy it truly can be! So I actually put everything together on that header of mine. I edited it all the way down to the little bows you see on there! Sorry, I just had to share that with everyone! So now you know that if I do something wrong, or if you see that my blog page isn't too cute...well now you why...I have finally admitted that "I AM COMPUTER STUPID" :P BTW!!! Thank you so much Stephanie for taking our engagement pics! I couldn't have made my cute little heading without you! I really do appreciate all of the time you put in to not only our engagement pics, but also our wedding reception pics! So, THANK YOU SO MUCH ONCE AGAIN!!!

Kandis & I went on a shopping trip and found these HOTT pants at Ross! I love dressing up, so I convinced her to get a pair so we could dress up and have dinner ready by the time our hubby's got home from their ride. My love wasn't too surprised cuz he knows I am crazy like this. Kandis' hubby on the other hand was like....WOW! WOW HONEY! He couldn't believe it. Then of course since Kass was with us, we had to make her dress up to. You'd be surprised with the clothes you have at home...you can make any outfit! But then, come to find out, Richard & Brandon decided to try our pants on....and...well...I'll let you see for yourself!!!

To finish the night off, we had to watch Home Alone 2... I have been looking for it everywhere for my husband, and I finally found it at Blockbuster! He was ecstatic!!!! If you aren't into Home Alone...you would be after watching my husband watch it...he laughs histerically through the entire thing, he could watch it every night for the rest of his life and still laugh at it everytime he watched it! It's a sight to see!
Here's Broc playin with our nieces...they thought it was so hilarious that Broc hid in my car that was in the garage because their imagination normally goes only as far as hiding behind the door or hiding in the closet OVER & OVER again. So after Broc, we got them hiding a little better...in the dryer, in the cloths hamper, on the top shelf in the closet, and BEST OF ALL...on top of the dresser. Ashlyn thought she was being so sneaky being on top of the dresser in plain sight. What's funny about little kids, is that they're not all about the hiding, they are about giving themselves up really fast, they just like to show their SWEET hiding spots!
So here is the last little bit of action for the night. Going down the stairs in boxes! Just like old times, remeber when you were a young one...we would use sleeping bags, boxes, pretty much anything we could find! Well here we have it! THE BOXES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
